Despite Jersey City’s renaissance over the years, there was always a gaping, post-industrial hole between Hamilton Park and neighboring Hoboken that didn’t have much going on. But the area has taken off recently and another piece of their puzzle is set to open next month.
SoHo Lofts, from Manhattan Building Company, is a collection of expansive, loft-style apartments on the border of Hoboken and Jersey City. The developer has begun pre-leasing at the industrial-inspired property, which consists of 377 homes and a comprehensive list of modern, resort-like amenities including an Infinity edge pool, private cabanas, a media room, Zen gardens, a club room and arcade lounge, and a ten-person sauna.
City Homes and Gardens is directing the marketing program for the apartments, housed in buildings of 13 and 20 stories connected by a five-story parking garage podium featuring retail space. One, two, three and four-bedroom apartments are up for rent, as well as a limited number of private townhomes.
